Games Played Well — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Games Played Well mobile app.
Short version
Games Played Well doesn't collect your data. There's no account, no login, and no analytics —
the app runs entirely on your device. The only outside party involved at all is Google Play, and
only when you choose to buy an Information Pack.
What the app does locally
Every game, rubric score, and note you see is stored in a local database on your device, created
the first time you open the app. Nothing you do in the app — browsing games, filtering,
activating or deactivating a pack — is transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes this
data.
What we (the developer) collect from you directly
Practically nothing. Games Played Well has no server, no account system, and no analytics, crash-reporting,
or advertising SDKs of any kind. We have no way to see how you use the app, what device you
have, or who you are.
Purchases (Information Packs)
Optional Information Packs are bought through Apple or Google's own in-app purchase
system. When you buy a pack, the purchase itself — your payment method, billing details,
transaction history — is handled entirely by Apple or Google, under Apple or Google's Privacy Policy
(https://policies.google.com/privacy). Games Played Well never sees your payment information; it
only receives a purchase confirmation from Apple or Google's billing system, which it uses to
unlock that pack's games locally on your device. No purchase or account data is sent to us — we
don't operate a backend that Apple or Google billing systems reports to.
Permissions
Games Played Well requests no Android permissions — no location, no contacts, no storage, no
network access declared by the app itself.
Children's privacy
Games Played Well is a tool for parents to evaluate games before deciding whether their kids
should play them — it is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, child or adult.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will also be
reflected in the app's Play Store listing.
