The 24-Point Standard
Our Scoring System
We evaluate every game across six fixed dimensions: Learning Integration, Engagement Without Manipulation, Difficulty & Feedback Quality, Transfer Potential, Monetization & Data Practices, and Social/Emotional Fit. Each dimension is scored from 1 to 4, totaling a 24-point rubric. This score is mapped to a letter grade and a plain verdict to provide a clear, honest read on the game's overall quality.
Age Appropriateness
A high score does not mean a game is safe for all children. We believe age appropriateness is never gated. Every game is tagged for K-5, 6-8, or 9-12, and all content warnings are displayed prominently. These warnings are never hidden behind a good score, ensuring parents always have the full picture before a child plays.
